What would happen if the US and Iran actually make a nuclear deal?

Let’s be real—it doesn’t look like that deal’s happening anytime soon, and there are some solid reasons for that.

First off, just two days before the scheduled nuclear talks between the US and Iran, Israel launched an attack on Iran—an attack that was clearly pre-planned. Imagine someone’s trying to beat you up, and another person tells you to sit down and talk peace—obviously, the one getting attacked won’t be in the mood to negotiate. In that attack, Iran even lost a top military officer. And now people expect Iran to sit down and talk? That’s just not realistic.

Second, Iran has neither confirmed nor denied having nuclear weapons. If nobody even knows for sure whether Iran has nukes, how do you strike a deal on something so uncertain? And even if Iran does have nuclear weapons, it’s their right to decide whether to negotiate or not—neither the US nor Israel has the authority to dictate who gets to have what. After all, who made them the global referees?

Israel’s aggression has basically killed any chance of trust. No small country would want to make a deal when their dignity is being stepped on. If Iran does make a deal with the US, a few things are likely to follow:

  1. The US would lift some economic sanctions on Iran.

  2. Israel might feel even more bold, thinking it can get away with anything because the US will always have its back.

  3. The US might set up a military base in Iran—which, let’s be honest, would basically mean an Israeli outpost there too.

This would give the US and Israel more control over the Middle East, and that increases the threat level for countries like Pakistan. If Israel could attack Iran just because it might have nuclear weapons, what’s stopping them from doing the same to Pakistan?

This whole situation isn’t good for either Iran or Pakistan. You can’t trust Israel—they attacked Gaza’s children and women even after announcing a ceasefire. That’s a huge reason why many people are skeptical about any kind of peace or negotiation.

Bottom line: This isn’t just about nuclear weapons—it’s about power, control, and respect. And Israel wants to dominate the Middle East, no matter what. If India and Pakistan can call for a ceasefire over a phone call, then surely this issue could be solved too—but the US is clearly involved in this conflict indirectly, and that’s what makes peace so complicated.
