Unmasking the Script How Viral Stories Fuel the Blasphemy Protection Gang
The link to that viral video, many friends sent it to me!
At first glance, it seemed completely scripted to me. The way the gentleman making the video is completely calm, laughing, and smiling while recording the video. That cannot be the reaction of a person who has previously gone through “shock.”
Then, in the entire conversation, he didn’t mention that the person made any accusation or demanded anything. He just kept expressing his “fear” that this person could have accused him.
On the wall of the famous “storyteller” of the Blasphemy Protection Gang, dozens of people have already clarified that…
“This person is mentally disturbed and abnormal. For years, he has been seen wandering in different areas of Karachi. He gets into arguments with people. Usually, he tries to forcibly sell books.”
But weaving such stories to make the public “foolish” is indeed their business.
It reminded me of the era from 2008 to 2012 when people used to tell stories, my uncle’s cousin’s cousin said that on the way, a “bearded man or veiled woman” asked for a lift. A little further ahead, they said…
“Congratulations, I am a suicide bomber, we will all become martyrs and go to paradise, you have to crash your car into an army vehicle. If you don’t follow my instructions, I will detonate here, then you will go to hell, but since we didn’t find any army vehicle on the way, we were saved.”
Anyway, stories run well here. Apart from so many followers, now the entire business of the “Blasphemy Protection Gang” is also running on stories.
