Israeli Minister’s Shocking Gaza Statement Sparks Genocide Controversy

Israeli Culture Minister Amichai Eliyahu stated in an interview with the Israeli radio station Kol Barama

Gaza is being completely destroyed; it is an evil that must be eradicated, and we must put all its inhabitants to death.
This statement has emerged as confirmation of genocide against the Palestinian population by a senior Israeli official.

It should be noted that this statement comes at a time when United Nations agencies are highlighting a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. According to the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) and the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC):
– 100% of Gaza’s population is currently facing acute food insecurity.
– Half of children under five years old are suffering from severe wasting.
– Over 2 million people are in urgent need of humanitarian aid, including food, water, and medical supplies.
– 60% of Gaza’s households are surviving on just one meal every 24 hours, often far below the standard and quantity of human food requirements.

The United Nations has described this as “the world’s most severe humanitarian crisis,” warning that if an immediate ceasefire is not implemented, at least 600,000 people in Gaza could die of starvation within the next two weeks.
